Privacy policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026
Short version: we collect your email so we can tell you about the SALTO SAMPLER closed beta and launch. That's it. No newsletter, no spam, no selling your data to anyone.
1. Who is the controller
The controller of your personal data is:
al. Marcina Kromera 51a
51-163 Wrocław, Poland
VAT EU: PL8952207480
Contact: contact@saltosampler.com
2. What we collect and why
We only collect what you give us through the signup forms on this site:
- Email address — so we can reach you about the beta or the launch.
- Instagram or SoundCloud link (optional, beta form only) — so we can see that you actually make music and decide whom to invite into the closed beta.
- Which list you signed up for — either the closed-beta application or the launch-notification list.
- Technical metadata — IP address, approximate country, and browser user-agent string, stored with the submission. We use this to prevent spam and abuse and to get a rough sense of where interest is coming from.
We do not ask for, and do not want, anything else. No names, no phone numbers, no addresses.
3. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@saltosampler.com.
Technical metadata (IP, country, user-agent) is processed based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How long we keep it
We keep your signup entry until one of the following happens:
- you ask us to delete it,
- you unsubscribe and SALTO SAMPLER has launched publicly,
- the project is discontinued — in which case all signup data is deleted within 30 days.
5. Who we share it with
We use a short list of service providers (processors) to run the site and send email. They handle your data on our instructions and under their own data-processing terms:
- Supabase — managed Postgres database (EU region, Frankfurt) where signup entries are stored.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and the Pages Function that receives the form submission. Some log data may be processed outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Resend — email delivery for the invitation and launch emails. US-based; transfers covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
We never sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or analytics vendors.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may set essential cookies for security and bot protection; these do not identify you personally and are needed for the site to work.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you,
- correct it if it's wrong,
- have it deleted,
- receive a copy in a portable format,
- object to the processing,
- withdraw your consent at any time,
- lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@saltosampler.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
8. No automated decisions
We don't run automated profiling or automated decision-making on your data. Beta invitations are reviewed by a human (Jan — see the home page).
9. International transfers
The primary data store is in the EU. Some of our processors (Cloudflare, Resend) are US-based; any transfers outside the EEA are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and, if it affects you directly, email the address you signed up with.
11. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints: contact@saltosampler.com.
